Sencha Pine

sencha asamushi from Kagoshima, Yabukita cultivar.

I'll write a more formal description soon, but consider this tea the "great bang for your buck" one on the menu. Excellent quality, mellow aromatics and very low bitterness, all coming in at a more than affordable price. 

Taste is more on the sweet side, with very little tannins overall. Aromas are clean and comforting, with notes of sautéed greens, pine needles and citruses. There's a round warmth to it also, like fresh baked bread. Very easy on the palate.
